Here's what we were working with - a plain six-panel door with small sidelite windows. Functional, but nothing special. The kind of entry that blends into the background and does nothing for curb appeal or the feel of coming home.
We replaced it with a ProVia Legacy single entry door set in a FrameSaver frame. The finish combination is Snow Mist White on the interior and Tudor Brown on the exterior, paired with black hardware throughout. Two full-length decorative glass sidelites flank the door, letting in a ton of natural light while still giving the entryway a sense of privacy and style.
The difference is pretty striking. Where the old setup felt flat and dated, the new door has real presence. The decorative glass features a classic diamond accent at center, with textured glass that diffuses light beautifully without making the entryway feel exposed. From the inside, it pulls natural light into the foyer in a way the old sidelites never did.
ProVia is one of those manufacturers we trust to deliver on both quality and appearance. The FrameSaver frame is built to resist rot and moisture over the long haul - which matters a lot for an entry that takes constant exposure to weather. Black hardware ties the whole look together without being overdone.
A front door does more work than most people give it credit for. It sets the tone for the whole home, affects energy efficiency, and is one of the first things anyone - including potential buyers - notices. Getting it right is worth the investment.
