“2 technicians arrived right on time, removed the old window and installed a new thermal window. They were neat and cleaned everything inside and outside before they left. Their work was done very professionally. Covered everything with aluminum flashing, the wiped the flashing clean of all finger prints and marks, they cleaned the window inside and out. “Prompt service and quality products! We purchased a storm door from ABE several years ago on the recommendation of our neighbors. They said we should purchase a top-quality door because we’re on top of a hill and the strong winds will break a regular storm door. We have never regretted this decision. During a recent bout of high winds, the door got away from someone and was caught in the wind causing it to tilt and close with much difficulty. ABE came out to fix it the day after we called and it’s as good as new. We’re convinced a lesser quality door would’ve had to have been replaced.”

On both windows the outside panels used to open but the previous owners sealed them shut. John said he would do his best to get them to work. “Our basement door springs snapped so we checked the web for Bilco doors and ABE Doors was one of the first links. We had heard good things about the company, so we called, the salesman came to the house, gave us an estimate, and scheduled an estimated installation date. On the day of installation, Gary, the technician, was faced with an unusual situation. The old door, installed with the house in 1955, was impeded in the concrete foundation, which he had to remove. The foundation was not level nor square, which compounded the problem. Because he had to chisel out the concrete, after he installed the door, he had to replace the concrete. When the weather warms up, we have to paint the door. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about our type of door which helped him complete the job quickly. We would recommend ABE Doors to our friends.”

“Had both of my garage doors rendered unusable in short order of each other due to a busted spring on one and snapped cable on the other. I contacted ABE on Wednesday morning and spoke with Joe. He was able to get us scheduled the next day for a repair. Technician Bob arrived and was able to fix the problems quickly. He also pointed out some potential issues waiting to happen and resolved those for us as well (mounting bracket on doors, worn out front skiff wheels). This was a 5 star experience from initial call to completion of service at a fair price. I would recommend ABE in heartbeat and will absolutely use them going forward for any future needs.”

I realized I'd pay more, but with that I knew I'd get accountability and people who are experts in this area. The first person I met was Tom, the sales person. He's a pro and solid representive for the company. He provided guidance without talking down to me. I met him in June and he informed me right from the jump, installing wouldn't be until October. No worries about that. I appreciated the honesty. To my surprise, I got a call the second to last week in August that they were ready to roll. Fantastic! I had two men show up to put two screen doors in at 8:00 am. They spent 7 man hours (14 total hours obviously), not including their 30 minute lunch, to install my doors. Their supervisor even made a visit to check on their work. They knew what they were doing. Installing doors, especially my back door was an arduous task.
